After a long weekend of going out to Bowman Field to the Bluegrass Balloon Festival and waiting for a hot air balloon race we finally got to see one on Sunday morning. Missy and I got out to the field at 6:30am and at 8:30 they decided that they were going to do a “Fly In”. This is where the pilots go out somewhere and attempt to fly into the field and over the “X” that had been placed in the middle. While they were flying over they had a bag of grass seed that they tried to get as close to the middle of the “X” as possible. It was fun to watch!!
